Happy 2013, everyone!  As we start the New Year, we want to remind everyone that January 2 and January 3 are Pajama Days at Jarrell Orthodontics.  The members of Team Jarrell will be wearing their pjs to work and ask that all patients do the same.  Patients who wear their pajamas to their appointment on January 2 or January 3 will be entered to win a $10 itunes gift card!  Enjoy your New Year’s Day!

Mitten Tree Donations Due December 17

We are still collecting donations of mittens, gloves, hats, and scarves for our Mitten Tree. Several patients had asked about the deadline for donations to the Mitten Tree. As such, we wanted to let you know that our deadline is Monday, December 17. The items on the tree will be taken to the Salvation Army for distribution to those in need on Tuesday, December 18. National Cookie Day!

December 4 is National Cookie Day. According to the theultimateholidaysite.com, cookies were something of a fluke: "It's crazy to think that the cookie was an accident, but back when ovens didn't have temperature gauges, bakers would dribble a little cake batter in the oven to be sure it was ready. Finally someone clued in to the fact that these little edibles were amazing and the cookie -- from the Dutch word keokje, meaning 'little cake' -- was born."
