Thursday, November 1 and Monday, November 5 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., patients can trade 25 pieces of candy (wrapped, please!) or more for an entry into a drawing for a $10 itunes gift card, a $15 AMC Theatres gift card or a $25 American Eagle Gift Card. You have all heard that today’s kids drink too much pop and their sugar intake is causing a variety of problems including childhood obesity and poor oral health. 

Because it is just plain spooky, & hard to imagine, just how much sugar the average soft drink contains, we thought we would show you.

This month’s contest is…

"LOOK HOW MUCH SUGAR YOU ARE DRINKING!”

Simply match the sugar in each bottle to the amount that would be in a 12 ounce bottle of that drink.

The winner will receive

 an Electronic Catch Phrase Game

&

a $25 Gift Card for Pizza!

Contest will run OCTOBER 16 to NOVEMBER 15.

The winner will be chosen at random from all correct entries submitted.

Blue Skies in the Forecast for Wednesday!

Woo Hoo!  The "chance of rain" that was in the forecast for Wednesday, October 8 has been removed.  It now scheduled to be "partly cloudy in the morning, then clear" which is just perfect.  But it will be cool so jackets are a must!

We look forward to seeing all the members of the Jarrell Orthodontics' Kid's Club (those still growing teeth) at Guffey Acres from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. this Wednesday evening.  Meet you  at the Corn Popper!

Kid's Club Members (those still growing teeth!), it's not too late to get your wristbands for the Jarrell Orthodontics' Kid's Club outing to Guffey Acres on Wed., Oct. 10 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m..  We still have some wristbands available for those who did not make it in by Oct. 4.  So, come in on Monday or Tuesday, and we will set you up.  This is a private event so all attendees must have a wristband to enter.  Meet you on the Corn Popper!

School Spirit Day!

Attention patients, October 9 is School Spirit Day!  Wear your favorite school/team logo clothing to your appointment and you will be entered to win a $10 itunes gift card! 

What to do First?

It's a difficult decision.  Do we walk the corn maze first, jump on the new corn popper, ride the barnyard barrel train, play in the straw jump, or hit the corn crib?  Who knows what you will do first at Guffey Acres during the Jarrell Orthodontics' Kid's Club outing on October 10.  One thing we know for sure, if you don't pick up your wristbands at the Jarrell Orthodontics office, you will be left out of all the farmtastic fun Guffey Acres has to offer!

Our Kid's Club outing to Guffey Acres is less than 2 weeks away.  The date is October 10 and the hours are 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.  Kid's Club members (those still growing teeth) may have up to 4 wristbands. 

Food and beverage and pumpkins will be available for sale during this event.  But remember, you must have a wristband to enter as this is a private event.
