Attention, friends, please help us spread the word about a situation at the Logansport Salvation Army. At their “Coats for Kids” Distribution Day, they had about 1002 applications, but could only pass out 460 coats. They had to turn away 170 kids without coats because they didn’t have the right sized coats to give. The main areas in which they ran short were boys’ coats in sizes 7 through 12. While they can always take coats (any size) and store them for next year’s drive, they are currently asking the community for additional funds to purchase coats for those kiddos they had to wait-list. This is the first year they have had to do this.
So, if you or someone you know would like to help, please contact them at 574-722-1979. Thank you!
